WOW! What an amazing stay we had for our wedding weekend! The house was absolutely incredible, we were all left speechless. It is probably the most well equipped place I have ever stayed in, with everything you could ever need. Lauren and the team were so helpful and communicative in the lead up and during our stay. Everything was just perfect!

If you're thinking of booking this place - DO IT!! Communication with the venue team was 10/10 from the moment we enquired, making planning my sister's hen an absolute dream. Plenty of space for a large group to hang out together, but lots of little areas to chill out too. We had a small group wind down with a film while others carried on with karaoke - just perfect for when you've got a diverse group of people to please.

I booked the venue to host my best friend's hen and it did not disappoint! The hosts Emma and Lauren were so helpful and friendly - nothing was ever a problem. Spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the girls made great use of the slippers and gowns as the night went on and our feet were tired from all the dancing! My only regret is we didn't stay longer!

Stayed here for a friend's hen. The property is beautiful, every detail is thought of. We were there on a warm day so made good use of the garden, BBQ and hot tub. The hosts were lovely, very responsive. Will definitely be back.

It was the most special 40th birthday - the venue was incredible, clean, well organised and set out. We had 12 of us there and it was comfortable. Every detail was thought about. We ran our own wine tasting session and as soon as I asked about glasses they had them ready.

We held my wife's 40th birthday at Essex Stays as it was the perfect location for a party. Everything from the pre-planning with Emma to the party itself was amazing. Thank you Essex Stays, we will be back.

We booked last minute for a family weekend away, ages ranging from 10 to 82! Clean, comfortable, well designed and laid out. There is a lot of space to spread out and relax. We loved the hot tub and pod, used the BBQ on the first night, ate in a local pub a 10-minute walk away and spent a couple of hours walking along the river. We had a lot of fun in the karaoke room too!
